INTRODUCTION:

Welcome to the Firearms Education Institute web site (FEInet.Org). Here you will find accurate, independently verifiable, scientific data, statistics, charts, and research on crime, firearms, and effective crime control policy.

Please visit our HELP/GETING STARTED page for information that will make your visits to this site more productive and enjoyable.

FEInet.Org is a dynamic web site. This means that some web pages will have different visual and sound content each time you visit them or click on the "Reload" button (in Netscape Navigator) or "Refresh" button (in Internet Explorer).

For an example of one of our dynamic web pages, <CLICK HERE> !

The amount of dynamic content is expected to increase over time, to keep this site and your visit interesting, and to encourage frequent visits! (Another reason is because your humble webmaster is a computer engineer now learning web design and internet programming, and testing new features at this web site! Feel free to explore, and to offer ideas and suggestions!)

We will do our best to help you enjoy every visit, as well as to meet our goal of providing accurate and useful information generally not available from less competent and reliable information sources including most of the mass media. We also welcome public officials and members of the news media who want to become better informed so they can make more competent recommendations on firearms, self-defense, and crime control policy.

  UNDER CONSTRUCTION

This web site is under construction, so be sure to visit frequently, especially starting May, 1998, for significant updates and developments!

ALWAYS ...

This will allow us to provide up to date, quality data to our user community, which includes researchers, law enforcement, legislators, other public officials and public figures, the media, students, and the general public.
